Third Annual Veterans Day Event
Free dental care for veterans!
This year, for the third year in a row, On November, 16th 2019, Dr. Ema will provide free 1-hour appointments to all veterans with a valid military ID who schedule an appointment at Printers Row Dental Studio. Dr. Ema, an Air Force veteran herself, is honored to be able to give back to her community and make sure veterans get the healthcare they need.
For the last two years, Dr. Ema has offered free dental care to veterans with a valid DD214 for her Veterans Day event. Many veterans come home to find out that they don’t qualify for dental care unless they’re 100% disabled or a POW. This means that veterans often end up without the necessary dental care they need to stay healthy. There aren’t any financial qualifications to be eligible for a free appointment during this event! Instead, this is Dr. Ema’s way to thank and honor veterans for their service.
“As a military dentist, my biggest contribution was helping members to be deployment-ready, so now I’m doing the same thing by helping vets to be a little bit more life-ready.”
Want to schedule your free appointment?
Reserving your appointment is as easy as calling our office at (312) 435-0411! Don’t forget to bring your military/veteran ID or a valid DD214 (and a complete list of medications & medical history).
Are walk-ins available?
Yes! We encourage veterans to stop by and see if we have any openings! Walk-in appointments are on a space-available basis.
Last year, Dr. Ema and the volunteers at Printers Row Dental Studio gave away over $13,000 in free dental care to veterans in need of dental care. This event is fully volunteer-based, and we will have two dentists, a hygienist, and support staff.
We are honored to serve you and thank you for your service.
Dr. Ema’s Military Experience
Dr. Ema herself is a veteran of the US Air Force, and she has since been dedicated to giving back and supporting active-duty military members and veterans. In the Air Force, Dr. Ema was a Captain and served the men and women who were being deployed every day. While stationed on a smaller base in Massachusetts, Dr. Ema provided dental care for members of the Air Force, Marines, Navy, Army, and Reserves alike, helping them get ready for deployment.
“It was so fulfilling knowing that I had a tangible, positive impact by helping to make our troops healthy and ready to serve our country… and making a positive impact in people’s lives is why I became a dentist in the first place.”
